Mupeak Warranty and Terms Policy

Brake Rotor Warranty

Mupeak brake rotors are marketed as Racing and Off-Highway Gear and are intended for high-performance use. Due to the variability in installation, bedding, and usage, Mupeak does not provide an expressed warranty or guarantee for any specific time frame.

Warranty Coverage:

  • Mupeak guarantees that all brake rotors are free from defects in materials and workmanship when new and unused.
  • Once installed or used, the owner assumes all responsibility for the product's performance and condition.

Exclusions from Warranty:
The following scenarios are excluded from warranty coverage for unused products:

  1. Improper installation.
  2. Modification or alteration of the product.
  3. Misuse or intentional damage.
  4. Damage resulting from accidents, impacts, or use beyond the product's intended lifespan.

Warranty Claim Process:

  • Defective items must be returned in their original packaging, in unused condition, with freight prepaid for inspection.
  • If the product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, it will be replaced and returned at no charge. This policy applies to the original purchaser and subsequent users.

Important Note:
Racing brakes and equipment are consumable parts that require regular maintenance. To ensure safety and optimal performance, users must employ a consistent inspection schedule to check for fatigue, damage, and wear.

 

 

 

Brake Caliper & Brake Kit Warranty

SP-Series: Limited Lifetime Warranty
Mupeak guarantees SP-Series brake calipers to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when new and unused. These calipers come with a Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty, applicable only to the original purchaser through the official Mupeak site or authorized dealers and distributors.

Warranty Exclusions:
The following conditions and scenarios are not covered under warranty claims:

  • Misuse or abuse of the product.
  • Overheating caused by improper use, leading to internal seal leakage, warping, or uneven wear.
  • Damage caused by corrosion or insufficient maintenance.
  • Dirty, old, or overheated brake fluid resulting in piston seizure or uneven wear.
  • Normal wear and tear from long-term use (contact us for reconditioning and rebuilding services).
  • Damage from accidents of any kind.
  • Errors due to unprofessional installation or installation mistakes.

RP-Series Warranty
Mupeak RP-Series calipers are designed for competition and off-road use. Due to the extreme conditions in competition and the varying usage factors, Mupeak does not offer warranties or guarantees for these calipers.

Warranty Coverage:

  • RP-Series calipers are covered solely for defects in workmanship and materials when new and unused.

Terms of Purchase and Use

Acknowledgment of Terms:

By purchasing this product and opening the packaging, purchasers expressly acknowledge that Mupeak Brakes does not make any representations or promises regarding the brake systems, parts, or equipment that form part of the basis of the purchase agreement.

    • Purchasers affirm they are relying upon their own skill and judgment in selecting and purchasing these goods for their intended use.
    • No officer, director, salesperson, distributor, or agent of Mupeak Brakes is authorized to make any statement contrary to these terms. Mupeak Brakes disavows any statement contrary to this disclaimer.


Brake System as a Safety Device:

    • The brake system is a critical safety device. Any replacement or maintenance must be performed by competent and certified personnel.
    • Installation of any component or system should only be carried out by individuals experienced in the installation and proper operation of disc brake systems.

Responsibility for Installation and Application:

    • These high-performance components will not function as intended if misused or improperly installed to the correct specifications.
    • The installer is responsible for determining the suitability of the component or system for the intended application.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

    • It is the ultimate seller’s responsibility to ensure that the sale of Mupeak Big Brake Kits complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Drivers are responsible for ensuring the use of Mupeak Brakes products complies with all local laws and regulations.

Safety Advisory

The installation of a Mupeak Brake Big Brake Kit should never encourage a driver to take risks that compromise safety.

  • Enhanced braking performance cannot overcome the risks of attempting to stop over too short a distance, cornering at excessive speeds, or aquaplaning.
  • Drivers must always account for road and weather conditions and adjust their driving accordingly.
